This is why I’ve always hated talking to old people. This and all the talk about friends and relatives who’ve recently died.

maybe Pig should try going over to his parents’ house and fix breakfast… though the parents would complain of their son’s tardiness and complain of starvation

Sherlock, wait till you get old. You’ll find that the best fun you can have is griping about everything. That’s why I comment on all the websites I can.

Now that I’m past 70, I get to complain as much as I want, and my kids have to listen (I make the rules too).

Chronic pain is horrible. If its untreated, of course he’s going to be hard to live with. What Pig feels is a fraction of what his dad is putting up with. The doctor should really treat the pain even if they don’t know what’s causing it. Unfortunately, not something that’s done very often in America.

My grandmother listened to her friends kvetch about their aches and pains and decided she didn’t want to be one of those. She became the sweetest little old lady you could ever hope to meet, even with a severe case of osteoporosis, and she lived to be a happy 96.

December is family time. Perhaps we will meet some of the other characters’ folks …. Pig Pa is recognizable as Pig’s opposite, makes me wonder what Goat or Rat’s dad would be like.

And we see the difference between Rat and Pig once again. Rat would have taken a baseball bat to his Dad after he said the eggs were runny and say he should be happy to get runny eggs even though he himself would complain about runny eggs (personally I enjoy sunny side up when it’s runny, like to sop up the yolk with my toast; but when the whites are runny the eggs should have stayed in the fryer a little longer). Pig at least tries to be nice.

I’d have expected Pig to be used to the complaining by now. I guess this why he doesn’t see his dad very often (as far as we know, ehh, Cartoon-Boy?)….

The only reason the new pain products got popular was that they were synthetic and the pharma corps had patents on them. Using opiate derivatives is old school and is too easy. Opiate derivatives clear out of you system faster, also.

Chronic pain is a lifetime of suffering. Since Obama Care came in, the govrenment has control over the doctors and now try to make you jump through hoops to get pain relief.

They want you to do to the pain clinic a couple of times a week rather than prescribing a 90 day supply. When you ask them to look at your problem, they just put you off and when you finally get in, they tell you they won’t do the surgery, just like they did last year.

It is the same old story. If I had the money for a private doctor, he might do the surgery, but it could just make it worse.

Pig needs a DNA test. Notice how his ears are opposite to his dad’s? Pig has right up, left down. The old man has right down, left up. Maybe mama was wallowing in a strange pig sty!

And, btw, I’m 75 and don’t bore my kids with my ailments or whine about things. I have plenty to go on about but I don’t want my kids or grandkids to be bored with me. I’d rather talk about their lives and what’s going on there!
