Good thing the Grands weren’t at the playground when Lazy Nancy called — they might have said that they were swinging with other couples.

The Mom will be thankful for this experience when her kids are grown up and want to dump their kids on her.

Actually some of us seniors look forward to seeing the grandkids and having them stay over. You can mess with their little minds so much better that way.

J/k. We love ours. Yeah, we spoil them and tell them embarrassing stories about their parents, but what else are grandparents for?

Without them coming over to see us we’d be far lonelier and unhappy. Sure we have senior friends and we do things together, such as a senior’s cruise and the odd trip to Vegas but all of us have grandkids and talking about them is our favorite pastime.

If there was a fourth panel to this strip I think that the censor would make an appearance. He’s not doing his job properly by letting this one slip by. I’m glad he got lazy, cause this one is hilarious.

I’ll bet Nancy won’t be able to unsee what she saw in her mind’s eye.

Fascinating guy, Pastis. He left the expressions on the onlookers’ faces unchanged from the first to the second panels. Is it that everyone expects her to scream when she’s talking to her parents? In my case that was true, but only after I hung up.

Reminds me of a a series of Toyota commercials from a few years back where the adult children all thought that their parents were in their room asleep when in fact they were out having a good time.

What’s the point of having kids if you can’t chortle when they suffer for having kids. .(They’ll finish that card game and then get down to the actual shenanigans. There’s something they want to try if Al’s defibrillator implant can take it.)

Pastis had to canasta wide net for this one.

So she’s finally taking into consideration that they have lives and she should actually ask first rather than assume their just going to baby sit just because she shows up and drops off the kids.

I used to like Pearls, back when it was funny and was about the zeebas. Time to find a funny comic that isn’t tired and bringing in unfunny characters in a lame attempt to re-invigorate itself.
