Pig: Check it out, Goat...I'm making baby dolls for kids. In fact, I'm selling so many yI can't keep up and don't know what to do. Goat: Ask around here at the cafe. I'm sure there are tons of people who need work. Pig: Pardon me, ma'am. But would you like to make babies with me? No one needs work.
That first panel looks more like Pig’s re-enacting the shower scene from Psycho with the way he’s holding the screwdriver.
Interesting that Pastis chose a flat head screwdriver over a Philips. Guess he wanted to make certain it wouldn’t loose as much detail when shrunk down in papers and still be recognized as a screwdriver. That and flatheads would be a little easier for him to draw.
