Another bad pun. I have to admit, I had to read the punchline a couple of times before I got it.

There’s the pun I was looking for in the last strip.

But Rat, Pastis is your creator. Without him you would not be.

Seemed like kind of a long setup for a joke they could’ve done in three panels.

Still made me groan / smile, though. How does Pastis do it, time after time?

The thing I love most about this strip is when Pastis actually inserts himself into it to poke fun at his own bad jokes. I have never seen any other strip do that.

Those who can do it, do it. Those who can’t do it criticize.
