Things having to do with—and created by—humans aren’t the only things of interest and importance in the universe. Unfortunately, however, most humans think they are.
I went to a college not far from the Canadian border, known for its language school. Two undergrads were speaking French, dissing a kitchen worker as he set up a banquet. They did not realize he was French Canadian and understood every word. Imagine their surprise when he responded. Any time we assume we are better than someone else, the universe will eventually prove us wrong.
I read Peanuts mostly for the nostalgia (so yes, I know who MTM and FF were). Today’s is the first one in a while that made me laugh out loud. I keep picturing the smug look on the bug’s face.
Never make the mistake of equating size with knowledge, or worth. Or gender, color, belief system, nationality, age (ok, maybe some here but older doesn’t always equate to more knowledgable), hair length or side parted, right or left handed, or well, hopefully you get the point.

Linus and Snoopy were my two favorite Peanuts characters (Snoopy, of course, after he became “humanized”).

I can just imagine Sally walking away and saying to herself. "That’s the first time I’ve ever heard a bug go “Nya, nya, nya, NYA nya….”
Lucy would probably just step on it.

Glad Peanuts isn’t getting defaced with updated references like some strips.
