That’ll leave her foaming at the mouth.

I guess getting shaving cream was a good idea, after all.

Foamy once did a TV commercial with their product and a roller coaster. I am not sure if Joe Namath was involved with that particular ad…..

Lucy asked and Snoopy obliged! Good for Snoopy!

Well she’s seen it now.

Snoopy and Woodstock are right, seeing Lucy covered in shaving cream is funny…

Shaving cream, be nice and clean,shave every day and you’ll always look keen.

Now she CAN see and feel what was in the can.

This one tickled my somewhat!

The manufacturers sure managed to fit a lot of shaving cream into that one can ;)

Lucy, there’s a good lesson to learn. Be careful what you ask for!

Lucy is always Lucy; Peanuts characters never move out of mode, they are, one and all, each very stable in their own character. It’s in the script.

Lucy the Snowman was crabby, angry soul. With a navy blue dress and a black hairdo and a heart made out of coal.

Ask and ye shall receive…LOL!!!

Just remember, you’ve asked for it! Ugh, why do I bother? The second Lucy cleans off the saving cream, she’ll slug Snoopy and Woodstock into the next comic strip!

One of Rudyard Kipling’s poems involved a guy using shaving soap (before the spraycan type was developed) to fake “epileptic fits of an appalling kind.” The narrator adds,

[Of his modus operandi only this much I could gather:—

“Pears’s shaving sticks will give you little taste and lots of lather.”]

This is why the Peanuts comic strips are the best.

This week there is no end to the shaving cream joke!

Can anybody else do it better? Nope.

I don’t think I have ever seen Woodstock interact with any other character other than Snoopy.
