as if you’d find wolves in suburban Minnesota, right?
The BuildersI told them a thousand times if I told them once:
Stop fooling around, I said, with straw and sticks;
They won’t hold up; you’re taking an awful chance.
Brick is the stuff to build with, solid bricks.
You want to be impractical, go ahead.
But just remember, I told them; wait and see.
You’re making a big mistake. Awright, I said,
But when the wolf comes, don’t come running to me.
The funny thing is, they didn’t. There they sat,
One in his crummy yellow shack, and one
Under his roof of twigs, and the wolf ate
Them, hair and hide. Well, what is done is done.
But I’d been willing to help them, all along,
If only they’d once admitted they were wrong.Sarah Henderson Hay
It would be very hard to get a brick Sopwith Camel up in the air Snoopy.
T.A.R.D.I.Ses are built with a chameleon circuit.
Since the Eurovision Song Contest of this year in Europe we all know you simply need to feed that wolf a banana: https://eurovisionworld.com/eurovision/2022/norway
Snoopy, you might be mortified with a brick dog house.
maybe not a wolf, but maybe a tornado (I’m not sure if tornados happen in Minnesota, I’m from Australia)
‘stupid pigs’ ??? Hate to break it to you Snoopy, but it’s been discovered that pigs are smart … probably smarter than beagles, which swim in the shallow end of the canine brain pool.
Snoopy, the wolf is your cousin. He wouldn’t eat family, would he?
Well, actually, the pigs are distant cousins of his, too. Never mind.
I went for a walk in my neighborhood recently and saw a couple of coyotes which are known to attack small children here in the mid Hudson valley.
Besides, do you know how much it costs to build one, Snoopy?
Books are dangerous. Play more video games. And cue someone “reminding” me that this strip was from the 70s…
At least it’s less likely to fall apart. However, Snoopy won’t be able to fly it because it’ll be too heavy.
Snoopy has taken on the Red Baron. What is a little ole wolf going to do that is just filled with alot of hot air.
She’s a brick…house.
I just saw a favorite Tex Avery Droopy cartoon “The Three Little Pups”, where the big bad dogcatcher-wolf blows down the houses of his two brothers Loopy and…Snoopy!
Go ask Woodstock…didn’t he literally just build a brick nest the other day when you told him that story??
Not sure about a brick doghouse but The Count does know several ladies who are built like a brick outhouse, boy howdy.
Why does he care when he sleeps on the roof anyway?
Well,a brick h ouse can’t burn down and destroy his Van Gogh…..
She’s a brick house!
That lady’s stacked and that’s a fact!
Ain’t holding nothing back!
There was a great coyote migration back in the early 1980’s.
I’m more concerned about Virginia Woolf than Canis Lupus.
I wish this strip had started a panel or two earlier. Would love to see how Snoopy conveyed that request to Chuck!
gotta protect the van Gogh… and the pool table
Should check out these three. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_UegL1R3X8
Wait until Snoopy finds out that we think now, that pigs are as smart as dogs!
