Ordinarily I’d say dogs don’t have arms, they have four legs, but Snoopy is an anthropomorphic dog who often uses his paws as hands.
Wise choice, Snoops.
Just wait, Snoopy will get that blanket.
Why doesn’t he display that kind of cojones around Lucy when she tries to take the blanket away from him? :/
You mean broken foreleg.
How rude, gross, cruel and against all odds- thumb-sucking!
So why don’t you touch the blanket, Snoopy? Thousand-to-One odds are not that great. Ten-to-One, on the other hand, would be grounds to keep your distance.
Why not go for it, Snoopy? You can always use that insurance at Met Life…
If you break Snoopy’s hand, you’ll go to jail for animal abuse.
Do like insurance companies: if you don’t like the odds, change them.
Or you can do like some people do: if you don’t like the odds, pretend they don’t exist.
OK, this strip is from 1974. Have we gotten any less addicted to violence since then? Is the culture any less soaked in it? Every time I point this out, people look at me like I have three heads, and then go back to their TVs that pump out 600-700 murders a year.
never tell me the odds!
unless it’s just so really tempting……
Linus threatens Snoopy with a broken arm, he’s going to be an animal abuser when he gets older
Well you say that, but you’ll have that blanket in your teeth soon enough.
That was loud roar from a baby lion who is pacified by the blanket.
