Okay, Sally, what’s the capital of Washington? No, it’s not D.C. Nor is it W.
Fractions will not be met with so much enthusiasm
At least in this time period she will not be have “woke” learning. The rewriting of both English and History, (I hope “they” haven’t rewritten math) to be Politically Correct……. (BAH, HUMBUG!! Mass confusion, and a whole lot of untruths, and a whole lot of twisted truths — which can be worse than lies because there can be a bit of truth in them – but which bit?)
And maybe, (but this is Sally we are talking about), she will learn to check the facts and look at both or all sides of a problem before coming to an her own opinion.
I’l bet most kid these days wouldn’t even know the capital of their own state … sad.
“ready to learn, ready to absorb”…ready to be rebuked for disrupting the class!
Talk about ambitious and open to learning.
State capitals or capital letters of the alphabet?
Yeah, but she yells it in the middle of Math class!
A B C D E F G…..
She’s pumped! Let the learning begin!
No doubt Sally’s enthusiasm will be short-lived . . .
Um you mean Capitol, capital letters or state capitals?
A rare instance of Sally being happy to be at school.
Lots of teachers in my family – every one of them want students like Sally. In teaching the belief is that ALL students start out that way and the degree to which they get lost are the degree to which we have failed them.
London, Paris, Ottawa, Canberra, umm… Gotham…, Disneyland…, Shangri-la…
That’s the spirit…….
Easy, easy. Hopefully the anarchists won’t finish them off before you hear about them.
Sally is just following in the footsteps of Peppermint Patty, as far as knowledge goes.
I wonder what grade she’s in?
A different trivia question: What COUNTY is St. Louis in? And for all of you ready to reply “St. Louis County” I’ll tell you now that’s wrong.
Yakko can teach you in a catchy song.
Obnoxiously anxious, obnoxiously eager.
I’m an empty vessel.
I learned my capitals in nursery
3rd grade is tough with da caronavirus
