I felt that way about the book my parents gave me when I hit 14. It told just enough to scare the dickens out of you but not enough to give you an appreciation of the wonder of it all.

Most people hate math

I’m with you, Sally! That would have been so nice!

Especially if it’s an algebra book.

It gets worse Sally. Wait until you pick up the new school book which gives it’s take on historic people like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

I’d never make it as a censor. I don’t understand why violence is acceptable but sex isn’t. Make war not love?

So The World Famous Attorney hasn’t heard about this yet!

What strikes me about this is not just the censorship, it’s the kids walking down to the library by themselves. I used to do that myself when I was young, back in Neolithic times, but today it seems that kids have to be escorted everywhere.

I just love the punch line to this strip!

There were a lot of things in my school books that I didn’t understand.

It’s the “Freak Out” part of the title that got it banned. Bunny-wunnies aren’t bad but their drug use is.

That pesky New Math.

Math is just a theory anyway…

Sally that makes sense. Why do children have to learn so many things at a time.

Banning something is a sure way to promote its popularity.

If they want to ban books, they should ban trig books.
