I’ve seen adults with this concept. Some people really have a problem with arithmetic.

50 can go into 25 easily if you use different font sizes.

“Somehow it’s OK for people to chuckle at not being good at math. Yet if I said I never learned to read, they’d say I was an illiterate dolt. Science and math [are] fundamental to what it is to be alive, because they’re all around us.”—Neil deGrasse Tyson

For some of us there is not enough practice to make perfect in math. I’m good at things like accounting math, but the higher forms of math (um, anything after grade school), while I appreciate their value, my brain’s wiring is just unavailable.

I hate maths! I was rubbish at it.

Even if I was good at it, I would still probably hate it but who knows?

A batting average of .500 would be pretty good, wouldn’t it?

All things being equal, arithmetic would be a lot simpler.
