You aren’t the first, and won’t be the last.
In any event, Happy Halloween, Patty. You have just joined a wacky gang of characters.
Feeling a little bit stupid is a Great Pumpkin tradition.
That’s okay, Patty. As I said to Linus myself on the day after one Halloween, “I’ve done some stupid things in my life, too.”
All right, everyone, take it from there …
Happy Halloween everyone!
I got a rock. Happy Halloween! Charlie Brown Halloween is on tonight, 8 pm. I do miss the CBS version and the Dolly Madison commercials.
Happy Halloween, Peppermint Patty!
Gotta work on that ‘sincerity’
It goes with being a person of faith
Is she talking to herself or breaking the 4th wall?
I know the feeling.
I know why Linus isn’t there. He’s with Clovis and Lord Pumpkus. He insulted Lord Pumpkus and is now with Robert the Plant.
Her pumpkin patch is the equivalent of an artificial Christmas tree. It’s the amount of sincerity you used when assembling it that counts.
Unfortunately she blew it in the last panel. In the TV show, Linus says, ‘If the Great Pumpkin comes . . . ’, then realizes he made a major faux pas — doubting his faith — because he didn’t say ‘When.’ Here, Patty admits that being out there waiting just might make her a little bit stupid. As Linus put it, ‘One mistake like that can cause the Great Pumpkin to pass you by.’
It’s the thought that counts, Peppermint Patty.
Another little tribute to Peanuts today. This one is from the Break of Day comic strip. Happy Halloween, everyone!
So that was supposed to be John Carradine under the mask … but you can tell from the non-arthritic hands that it must’ve been a stand-in.
Happy Halloween, everyone (even those who are patiently waiting in the sincerest of pumpkin patches)!
Nothing wrong in believing, Patty! Always HAVE FAITH!
odd thought Linus would have been with Peppermint Patty in the pumpkin patch wouldn’t he???!!!!!…look at Dogs of C Kennel y’all the Great Pumpkin appeared to Kenny and Tucker
No problem. I still believe in Santa Clause.
