He says, "I'm going to stand here in the rain until I catch pneumonia, and die . . ."<BR><BR> Linus continues, "If Miss Othmar doesn't like me any more, I have nothing to live for!"<BR><BR> Linus continues to stand in the rain. The rain falls harder.<BR><BR> Linus stands in the pouring rain and says, "I wonder if you can catch pneumonia without getting so wet?"<BR><BR>
Maybe Linus could fill a hot water bottle with dry ice instead of water, and keep it in his bed at night… This strip is about as dark as Peanuts go, a character plans suicide and is looking for a more efficient way.
