Snoopy is lying on a rock. Charlie Brown and Schroeder walk by. Charlie Brown is reading. He reads, "In our modern world, dogs have many interesting and varied uses."(BR) (BR) He continues, "The farmer uses him for herding livestock..the sportsman uses him for hunting.."(BR) (BR) He continues, "The eskimo uses the dog as a beast of burder and for food.." Snoopys sits up in shock and looks at the reader.(BR) (BR) Charlie Brown concludes, "And the man on the street uses him for a friend and a companion.." Snoopy sighs and lies back on the rock (BR) (BR)
