poor little Linus (was that his first time speaking?)

We had “the big kids” and “the little kids” in my birth family because there was a 25 year spread between oldest and youngest. If that had been my mom’s house, the arrival of the “big kids” would have left a trail of broken, wrecked toys in its wake.

Stampede!

So the big kids came in and… cleaned the house?

Don’t worry Linus; soon you’ll be in their same class, same apparent age and far more wise than the rest of them. Some self-esteem security issues, though.

I wonder if this was the impetus for his needing a security blanket.

Those are all “baby” toys. One would thing the “big kids” wouldn’t be interested in them.
