@Rule of Con-er If only all that overwhelming evidence wasn’t so darned partisan in favor of the Democrats, all this nasty truth business could have been avoided.

“Do you solemnly swear that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of Donald John Trump, president of the United States, now pending, you will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws, so help you god?” This was the oath administered by Chief Justice Roberts to each U.S. senator yesterday. Senators who have publicly stated that they will disregard any and all evidence presented in the trial because they are convinced of President Trump’s innocence are violating this oath and need to be removed by Chief Justice Roberts from the presiding body. He has the power to do so although he can be overruled by a Senate vote, which would be indicative of further violations. Write your senators and urge that these past statements be entered into the record and brought to Chief Justice Roberts’ attention.

It will be interesting to see how the Senators justify their vote in the face of overwhelming evidence. Some.. hypocrisy is expected.. but after taking an oath of impartiality.. eek!

Rule of honor has forgotten Gandhi’s quote. An eye for an eye until the whole world is blind. If innocent, why no testimony? why block witnesses? When it was Bengahzi how did that play out regarding witnesses?

If demanding accountability is partisan the Trump opponents are guilty.

Why this impulse to “correct” trolls? I don’t get it.

Simply engaging is all the troll wants. All you’ll ever get back is spin and spew and nonsense.

Just once,I also, would LOVE to hear ANY Republican in the Senate stand up for what is right and honorable instead of caving to peer pressure…..does any Republican in the Senate have the courage of their convictions? And would actually vote their conscience and not the”Mitch way”?
