Actually, I seem to recall that the Dems DID pass a stimulus bill. Not nearly adequate, but a whale of a lot more than the R’s did. ( after promising otherwise. don’cha know. )
And help me out here folks, weren’t there any number of job creating bills that were introduced byt the Dems and either blocked or filibustered by the Repubs?
But really cdward, don’t you recognize Michele Bachman when you see her?
Last, but not least that’s about how many people the tea-partiers have showing up at their rallies right now.
Conservatives b*h the stimulus didn’t create any jobs. Possibly true, but it saved millions !! Republicans would rather destroy the nation than let Democrats actually govern. The stimulus was the government using a defibrillator to revive the economy after the bankers gave it a massive cardiac arrest. And now they are complaining that after decades of abuse and neglect, the patient isn’t running a marathon.
The Republicans fed our economy the financial equivalent of massive quantities of red meat, buttered lobster and scotch while smoking cigars and sitting eight hours a day. Democrats are feeding us a little salad and Repubs can only crab.
I think Mr. Boehner actually has a jobs program, and is doing his best to implement it. It is a program design to destroy, not create, jobs. That would serve the long-range plans of his corporate masters.

And meanwhile he continues to do nothing about jobs, despite all his campaign promises.
Wonder who he’ll blame for the lack of job creation next election?
