I thought it was really embarrassing when she said “This time, when the votes are counted, he’s going to win”. Yeah, last time he lost, rub in it, and did it help him to have her on the ticket?

I suspect that coprophagic smiles are most often displayed *by* dogs, so in that sense McCain’t’s rictus resembles that of a candid canid.

I certainly know the phrase, but I’ve never been sure what it means. Can anyone enlighten me? Is it a sign of embarrassment as being caught doing something you shouldn’t be doing? Or what?

Check out the best seller “Game Change”… the McCain camp was stunned to fine out how little Palin knew ABOUT EVERYTHING! She had no idea why there was a North and South Korea… hell, didn’t she learn anything from watching “MAS*H “???

av8tor, if you read the postings on Palin here NOTHING written even suggests a fear of that woman! The majority of Americans do not like here, so the thought of her running for President in 2012 means 4 more years of Obama!

She did a crappy job of mayor and as governor ( even quitting before her term was over with ). And being governor of Alaska ain’t a big deal… the head of New York City’s transit system has more responsibilties ( millions of more folk ride the subways than live in Alaska ).

Dale, regarding Palin watching MASH; she just thought it was some “ER” Show for some far away foreign country that she couldn’t see from her house.

She kept wondering if some “Law and Order” show would follow that would go after the people who hurt the wounded in MASH.

Madeleine Albright could instill some fear! Palin is just pathetic.

Actually, as a Christian man; I find her an engaging and intelligent woman with her head on straight. She apparently puts God and her family first. These are things that Libs can only WISH they had the guts to believe. Witness this week’s Obama Interview as he puts convenience ahead of Worship. 1.) His religion is his own business: 2.) But don’t sit there and come up with a lame excuse for not being pious 3.) And Expect me to believe you are anything but an angry agnostic Black Man with an apostate mentality.

RV, Don’t feel sorry for us Tea-Bag Protesters; We would rather lose than surrender our party to fringe operatives or an elitist old-boy and special-interest network as the Libs have done. How’s that Bill Ayers/Harry Reid/ Joe Biden -thing working out for you?

“She apparently puts God and her family first. ”

Uh-huh. That’s why when she bailed out on Alaska, the first thing she did was to dive right in the most toxic discussion at the time - healthcare - with some of the most inflammatory statements to date (death panels, remember)? Because that’s just what you do when you want more time in peace with your family.

Her idea of God seems to be “something I can excuse whatever I’m doing with.” It was God’s will she ran for governor, and His will she left. It was His will she ran for VP, it was His will that she’s with the Tea party… Right, Apparently as long as she says His name often enough, it’s okay - unlike that Black Man Obama, not wearing his religion on his sleeve.

Good job, lefties! And I agree with you - with Sarah as the top choice of the Rippofflican fringe nuts in ‘12, Obama and Biden are a shoo-in. I only hope her running mate is Dan Quayle, also from the new Know-Nothing Party (aka Tea Bag clowns aka the Rippofflican Party aka the KKK….)

What does your estimation of her political speech as “toxic discussion” or her public service and it’s aftermath have to do with whether she puts God and her family first?

You Libs have a very strange interpretation of what putting God first means…It means you aspire to do His will; with His will not necessarily having anything at all to do with what you think it is. (I know this will probably go over most of the Libs’ heads here ; as they, no doubt, can’t possibly think that God doesn’t want to do exactly what they want Him to do…) See Isaiah 55:8.

If I was being sand-bagged for no other reason than I was a popular conservative candidate, and this sabotage was interfering with the fruitfulness of my service; I might quit, too. There is more important things than winning: one thing is being morally right.

    Penn, or Rosie, or whatever.

She had said that she wanted to spend more time with her family and protect them from the nasty side of political attention. Cool, I said, let’s see what she does next. What she DID do next is get into the hottest, most volatile political topic, in a way that GUARANTEED her political attention - both positive and negative.

Yeah, so much for putting your family first.

As for putting God first - I generally avoid discussing religion in politics, it is an area where I think most discussions are 95% posturing and 5% sophistry. What you say about Liberals might actually apply against Conservatives as well. In Mrs. Palin’s case, I think she talks a whole lot about God when it’s convenient, and that’s about it. The thing I least like about the combination of politics and religion are people who use religion as a campaign prop, and until I have a good reason to believe otherwise that is what, imo, Sarah Palin is doing.

Hey, look it’s a trio… Sarah Palin had almost nothing to say about God and religion in the campaign: it was Liberal Pundits who tried to make her religious beliefs and habits an issue. Thanks for doing that, Libs!

Has she always been this shrill – is it getting worse, or is it my imagination?

“And Expect me to believe you are anything but an angry agnostic Black Man with an apostate mentality.” – No I expect you are an angry so-called christian white racist male with an IQ that matches your shoe size.

If she gave a good gd about her family, she wouldn’t be raising a grandkid that is the same age as her own last kid – produced by a daughter that was still in high school, she wouldn’t be stumping all over the country for loser candidates while the kids are being raised by god knows whom, and she would be supporting, not opposing healthcare for all the other kids in the US.

^^ You say, “Here is God’s Will for you; Believe in His son Jesus the Christ.” That’s fine, but it doesn’t include the specific directions some people claim to get about running for this office or invading that country.

Our chirpy Sarah said something to the effect of “…yeah, y’know if God throws open a window there, and gives me a shout-out, I’ll run in 2012…”

Or something like that. Something. For God’s sake, Sarah—give us something.
