Let’s start a new debate. Why does the man have a bad case of the splits? His two feet couldn’t be further apart from each other! A feat (pardon the pun) I would never even try to attempt in my life because even thinking about it sends shivers down my back!

I’ve swam in the Atlantic swam in the Pacific and swam in the English Channel!! and in the Thames River!

Never had a shark encounter, though I have seen several Portugese Man of war washed up on the beaches!!

The only problem I had was swimming off Chesil Beach in Dorset when a rip tide got hold of me and was sending me away, the only reason I’m still alive is that my Dad saw what was going on and managed to save me!

It was scary beyond belief!!

That’s the first time I heard rip tide for many years Mom grew up on an island with the Chesapeake Bay surrounding it and I would hear that mentioned. Sounded scary.
