Nope, back when my boys were small, I sat through show and tell rehearsals as well as the later 3rd grade WEEKLY poetry readings. Those were actually fun because the 2 year old insisted on following them up each week with his own renditions.
Never went through show in tell with both kids, I do not know if they participated in that.
