That’s ok if black cats are good luck somewhere. Looks kinda like the rear view mirror is broken so the bad luck from that will cancel the good out.
It’s all perspective. Bad luck for him. Good luck for the cats. (And I think if you look real close, he broke his rear view mirror, too.)
Maybe an even number of cats cancels it out.
That’s a lot of bad luck crossing his path just now.

MY cat is black with random white HAIRS, so he’s not all bad luck.
Does the pet store ONLY have black cats?
