Obviously, how one of these gals plays the game is to win.

Kate, your book “Winning By Losing” is due for a third edition.

“How to get lost and win”. Seems vaguely familiar.

Kate can be cold, but she does have a soft side for poor clueless Dad.

You’re the queen of hide-and-seek when you hide successfully hide from Wiley Bears, Danae.

They left out one part of the game that could have settled it. When we used to play Hide-and-Seek as kids, it wasn’t enough to just find (see) the person, you then had to race back to the goal or home base (where you started counting from) and say (for instance), “One Two Three on Danae.”, before Danae reached the goal and said, “Free!”

The one who was “It” could give up and yell “Ally Ally in Free.” or “Olly Olly Oxen Free.” and then everyone who was still out the could come in free (and not risk being “it” for the next round).

I adore Danea!

And it only cost Danae her cell phone to retain the title… Kids I know would sooner give up a body part than their phones.

Monty has the same gag today: Sedgwick hid in a fountain tho not a pond, and used snorkeling gear.

There are times when Danae is utterly clueless. Like … now.

This is sorta how I expect the Ukraine war to end. Both sides claiming victory and the world goes on…

Now remember this is Kate, Her mind works in strange mysterious ways. Yes she did say " Yes yes it is" But she did not say " Yes the game is over" Therefore legally the game could still be on .. Yes its a subtle point but this is Kate we are talking about .. Lol

Kate would not do something so obviously underhanded. Her evil is more sublime.

Conspiracy thinking always incorporates everything. It’s like a black hole. No information can get out.

Well, I think that a book is in order. The life and times of Danae (Toad stools and Buttercups).

I remember when I was very young some boy would challenge me to a running race. I’d win. Then when I said “Ha ha I beat ya!” He’d just say "I didn’t want to win … " Took the wind right out of my sails, that. Of course later, when I thought about what would have happened if HE had won, I would, of course, never live it down!

Hmm. For a minute there, Danae was thinking it over.
