A great way to get some peace and quiet from Danae and make her think she won. Wonder if we could patent that idea so others in the world to truly bring peace to Planet Earth.

Let’s see the show of hands of everybody that called it yesterday.

I’ve been coerced into playing “Hide nor seek” and I always try to get Kate’s roll. Then I spend a few minutes actually looking, then I get my book.

It’s easy to find my brother, just follow the smell.

Hide and … whatever.

Everyone happy.

We all know who the real evil sister is.

I like her alternate meaning of “it” (just add two letters to the beginning to get her drift). She’s right. “It” happens. ;-)

Shouldn’t Danae’s hair be floating upward?

Maybe prune skin is fashionable

I’ll bet those toes are getting wrinkly under those shoes.

I’m getting too old to play with my niece. She’ll challenge me to a race, and I’ll agree. Then once she starts to run off, I’ll say, “Okay, you win by default.” She doesn’t like that for some reason.

I thought “it” was the person doing the seeking, not the person hiding.

Last time i started a game of hide and seek i was the hider. That was in 1984… Strange i just realized that no one has found me yet.

They were cleaning out a storage room at the convention center, and they found a skeleton behind a crate. Pinned to the clothing was a badge: “1973 Hide-and-Seek National Championship – Sven Olson”

The thought the one who was “It” was the seeker, not the hider.

Hide-and-Forsake

I’d have thought the fish’s thought bubble would have been in “air bubbles”, like Cpt’n Eddies smoke signals.

Tomorrow, the story turns dark as Danae battles with a Pond-Kracken.

I’d LUV it if Danae stays there all week. . .Kate is my hero!

No surprise – so far

technically, they both are “PLAYING”, but one is being more efficient

Hide in seek (yeah “in”, weird I know, but there you are) is one of my favorite games. My favorite hiding place was over in the neighbor’s house watching TV.

It was always more fun to figure out great hiding places than to actually play the game.

Dad still needs to send her outside to read/play as it is a nice day.

I remember begging my brother to play that game with me and trying to up with the most challenging places to find me. When you get to be an adult, they consider it a part of ninjutsu.

When we played, “it” was the seeker, not the finder. Once found, that’s when you become “it” and the roles swap.

I have heard of being “it” in a game of tag but never in hide-and-seek. I always thought that position was called “Go, hide.” :)

Some of my cats would play a game with me I call “Meow and seek”. Once I learned the rules, it was fun. Yes, I did have to meow when it was my turn to hide.

That must be awfully warm water.

At least Danae is frequently out and about outside, getting fresh air exercise. Unlike her sister who appears to be a couch potato.

The It role is the seeker. The game is simple for the hider. Find the closest place to home base with good cover Minimize running and dodging. If possible be closer than the seeker before making your move.
