Danae and Fern are becoming best friends, should i be worried?

Obviously neither has reached the prissy stage yet. I think Joe is going to need a pressure washer before this is done

I wonder which one of them would be considered the bad influence. :D

Seems kind of… mud-dane… considering Danae’s usual tricks.

Would it be as fun were the field not closed (concept of forbidden fruit and all that).;-D

Seems like the rules are for everyone else but them … like some people refusing to wear a mask, because it infringes their personal liberty – be damned to anyone else who gets in the way. Not a good idea.

Mud Season…A New England Spring phenomenon

Whoa. Danae actually has a friend. She’s becoming semi-normal.

Practicing for the World Mud Bowl title, held just over the border in NH in the Fall. (No joke, it’s real).

I’m sensing a disturbance in the Force.

Started a girls high school soccer team in the 90’s. Was surprised how much they loved playing in the mud.

Perhaps Danae has found a kindred spirit in Fern? Where will they go and what adventures await them?

It was mud season in Vermont and my then GF decided to take a shortcut across a field. Lost both shoes about ten yards in.

This friendship could be interesting : )

Next week: donuts on the greens of an after-hours golf course with “borrowed” carts.

Danae has never been known as particularly athletic. I think she misheard Fern as suggesting they go to a muddy field and kick a boy around.

Chaos will ensue.Of that, you can be sure….

“Mud Season” definitely Maine

I am really liking Fern. I do hope she stays in the strip.

I remember mud when I was doing field training once in Korea, It was in late Dec, ground was frozen, until we woke up to find our vehicles sunk to the running boards in mud. Tried our tow truck, it got stuck in the mud. I along with a few others lost a Mickey Mouse boot, pulled right off my foot. By about 10am we were sinking into mud over our knees. It took a tank retriever to pull all of our duce and a half and jeeps out of the mud, our tents and most of our field gear were either buried in mud, or covered in mud. The Commander finally canx the FTX and we went home with everything covered in mud. Took a few days with a high pressure hose to clean off all the mud. That was by far the worst Field Training exercise I was ever part of.

Reminds me of “The Great Canterbury Mud Bowl” Thanksgiving Day of 1992.

Response to anti-Asian attacks or not, I’m glad that Wiley decided to introduce an Asian character to the strip.

It won’t be much fun when they discover the Coaches decided that the best time to spread a couple truckloads of Manure over the fields was just Before Mud Season, before the ground Thawed.

I like these two! If I were only 70 years younger, we could hang out.
