Unfortunately bridging a gap hasn’t evolved very much since those days. Just look at your federal and state legislators and see how many live by the my way or the highway philosophy.

(Sigh!) Here’s wishing that they would meet in the middle, clobber each other, and their unconscious bodies fall to feed the bears!

Oops, pardon me! Thought that was the evolution of “loggerheads”.

Evolution implies movement. This can’t be about congress or politics in general.

That is one remarkably square and orthographic ditch.

Both guys have already bopped and tossed middle class into ravine before they realized a log would allow for crossing.

Unusually straight lines for that trench. If it were on A&E, it would suggest aliens.

I have learned, through some unfortunate experience, that “come here” is usually followed by something bad.

I think we should investigate who is using power equipment to dig gaps between us with right-angle bends in them.

The Democrats would have driven nails in the log and then called the Republicans uncaring obstructionist’s. And the log would have had a heavy termite infestation!

Are these two current members of our Congressional representatives? If not they should be. These two would be indistinguishable from their modern counterparts. As we have become so tribal our IQ’s seem to have devolved to the level of these two cavemen.

Not much has changed, it’s hard to believe we are the products of 13 billion years of evolution because we seldom act like it.
