Certainly would ruin business.
Mary always tells the truth and Oglethorp always lies. Mary says that Oglethorp says that we’re closed.
Most MAGA hat wearers could not enter that bookstore!!
Not for the Rump supporters.
How to keep a turkey in suspense.
spoor of a wild boolean
Not X (10 to the 23 )+ 1 closed would probably make one think more critically.
Well, fuzzbucket, you certainly elevated the level of discussion today. Thank you so much.
And, since Buttercup reportedly never reads the briefing papers so painstakingly created to help him, it is unlikely he would bother to interpret the sign, much less enter a book shop. Wonder if he even reads his cereal boxes all the way through?
Reminds of a Steven Wright joke about a convenience store “Open 24 Hours.” (But not in a row.)
In very small print at the bottom of the sign:
There are no polar bears hiding behind this door.
Critical thinking is defined as “the objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment,” which certainly didn’t define the behavior of both sides of the Senate, especially in the past several weeks.
That door is definitely not open…
Yes, but does that imply “Not Open”?
Bad that Trump has set up shop in some idiots brains. EVERYTHING is a Rorschasch test with them where they see Trump EVERYWHERE and think of him CONTINUALLY! Pitiful!
We need first to learn to think (for ourselves) before we can be critical.
Je lis, donc je pense !

Unfortunately, I Know a lot of people who can’t pass the entrance exam.
The door is clearly shut. It may be unlocked. There is no easy way to tell by inspection. Even if the door is unlocked are they open for business? Even if they’re open for business do they have anything to sell? This is beginning to look like a difficult problem and we’ve only scratched the surface.
My brother went to his grave lamenting the lack of critical thinking rampant today. He requested that donations to a critical-thinking workshop be made in lieu of flowers.
Opposite of “Not Un-Closed”
That’ll keep out the riff-raff. Although most of them are afraid they would burst into flames if they set foot in a book store.
After about a week the owner has gone bankrupt. Now he lives in Canada and is very fortunate. ;-)
Reminds me of the George Carlin response to ‘how are you?’ Moderately not unwell.
They could also ask, “Which is larger, a nickel or a dime?”
Most liberals would walk by it on a daily basis, and could not use what is inside anyway.
