Don’t worry, it’s just the remake of “Destroy All Monsters.”

But didn’t our president tell us that it’s all fake news?

Hyperbole alert! Non-believers are going to destroy our world! Even now, their monsters are arriving to ruin everything you hold dear! Remember this on Election Day! This has been an unpaid political announcement and therefore not regulated under campaign finance rules.

I’m with Bob…..and the way the news media spins comments our President makes, you would think the world is just like Bob sees it out his window. The news is trying to control our perspective of reality. Sorry, I don’t buy into all the “Political Correctness” guidelines they tell me I should follow. Example….Trump’s description of certain countries was right on the mark!

Actually, if I were Bob, I think I’d prefer the variety seen from his window to what actually appears on tv news screens. At least the outcome there would be reasonably predictable.

On the other hand, the ever changing menu of confusion and obfuscation shown on tv simply quickly transits one to the Hell with it point. Fortunately, the remote still allows one a last despairing gesture for peace and quiet.

Nope. Still things you can’t do anything about. Not worth exposing yourself to the rest of the baloney.

I believe the definition of a S***hole country is one where the infrastructure is falling apart, the schools are inadequate, few people have health care, the government is run for the benefit of the people in charge, who pass laws to punish anyone who complains about it, where there are a few rich people and the rest are living in poverty. I guess we don’t quite quite qualify yet, but the GOP is working on it.

I know people who see everything as political so do not look or discuss things like the climate, wars we are in, etc.

I used to have an “All News Station” on the radio when I was at work – great laughs -amazing what people did to each other….Now that I am older and retired, I find nothing funny about the news anymore….Especially since I was a Journalism major at college and know we were not “Fake” in our feelings and commitment….
