Mine are great at it!

It hit 96 F today, and I saw my short hair chihuahuas outside lying on their backs on the gravel, soaking up the sun. There is an open dog door, so they could have come into the cool house if they wished. They just love the heat.

Doing what they do best. Gotta love ’em.

I always thought my cat was solar powered. I know what the cat eats, I know what comes out the other end and I know how much fur she sheds – in accordance with the laws of thermodynamics, we need to account for the excess mass of hair. My conclusion is that my cat is capable of photosynthesis.

Working on a tan?

I’m not sure, but I think the guy is considering moving the easy chair over and joining them.

What? No walk?

Two words (or one hyphenated one) plus a picture, and it’s funnier than any of my other regular strips today with three or four frames of dialog.
