When I’ve had cats in the home, I usually have two.

A single cat knows it rules the household but when there’s a second cat the feline order of ascension is challenged..

Two cats will either keep each other company or ( as was the case at my house ) deliberately ignore the other cat, as much as possible.

There does seem to be less friction with two cats – even if they ignore one another ( and the dogs ).

I confess that I am ambivalent about having a cat. I like all animals and have had some real cat characters as companions over the years, but consider myself more of a dog person. It may have to do with the fact that I’m allergic to cat scratches and bites or that my last ex wasn’t a cat lover and my current wife has serious fur allergies

We have a poodle/terrier.mix that doesn’t shed much, and she can handle him.

My Family Pecking Order: Tank, Selkit, Gypsy, DustBunny, Me, and that Woman that cleans the litterbox.

Wiley loves his bears but he must love kitties too….these ones are precious. Luv the one taking a bath…
