Sounds like a few people after the election wanting a do over. That being said, I think the Democrats can beat Trump with a bag of hammers as their candidate in 2020
Reminds me of the old custom, where people with Taphophobia ( fear of being buried alive ) would make all sorts of arrangements for the construction of a safety coffins to ensure this would be avoided (e.g., glass lids for observation, ropes to bells for signaling, and breathing pipes for survival until rescued).
You realize of course, that we now have a president that will tell us which flavor of ice cream to eat or else, right? IMHO, the American people have hitched their nose ring to the wrong guy….We must now all follow behind Trump, or else! Don’t stray…There will be serious consequences if you do…We are not as free a country as we would like to think……..
Yes, salute to our still living Veterans who need help since they are committing suicide in huge numbers. It is unconscionable that our govt lets them.
In Mexico, I think it was, at a little boy’s funeral, the dead little boy sat up in the coffin, asked for a drink of water. He was given some water and drank it then laid back down and was dead again. This is probably an Urban Legend.
The irony. I believe Trump thought he would win the popular vote (narcissist you know), but lose the electoral college. Where he would have kicked and screamed at such a result. If Hillary had won both the electoral college and the majority vote, he might have conceded with some sort of grace. As it is, he won the electoral college (where there was obvious voter suppression, that is rigging), but not the majority. Trump seems quite OK with that result.Welcome to President Hypocrite.

I think we need to remain calm, be better, use the system, protect ourselves from violence, but don’t become what we say we hate and condone or become violent as the right.
As a British friend has reminded me, unlike Brexit, we will have the opportunity to change this, should it be as bad as we fear, in 4 years. After all, he’s promised more and better paying jobs. If in 4 years, the workers taxes go up and wages go down and unemployment explodes back to President Bush levels, perhaps, then some seduced by the right will drop their hate and fear and finally face reality.

And Varnes – you realize, of course, that your prediction was borderline insanity in retrospect, right? How’s your retirement account doing? Nice to see full employment and record growth, right? Any chance you’ve changed your tune in the light of reality? I didn’t think so . . .

Some humans are like that, they demand things be different. Doesn’t always work. Sometimes it looks good on paper, but in practice—-it is a bust.

And good luck with that!

You have never failed until you have given up.
But once you give up, somebody else can take care of you.
It’s all pretty much a free ride at that point.
