Of course, if it can deliver a bomb then it can deliver a pizza.

When the drone comes to ground level, wait until it has released the package, then jam it’s homing mechanism. You now have your own drone.

In Oz, the only tips the pizza guy gets is “Work hard and be good to your Mother”. (famous TV ad over here)

“Work hard and be good to your mother”, used to be valued in the U.S. But it was learned that values stood in the way of more and larger profits.

It makes sense. There’s no way that you’ll get a robotic delivery service to works – too many laws and regulations are, or will be put, in place to keep them successfully working (privacy, airspace, etc…)but, using them to conquer the world means you can ignore the laws (part of the requirement of world domination).

And then they can become a delivery service as originally planned

Just what constitutes ‘proud American’ for Bob? More of a convenient chichi to mask his paranoia.

This is the system used in the Republican section of our House of Representatives. It’s what Stephen Colbert calls “truthiness”- the idea that what’s true isn’t as important as what you believe, that what you know in your “gut” is inherently better than what others might “know” in their brains, since there is no objective reality. The problem with this process is that when you use your “gut” instead of your brain to make decisions, the product of the two organs becomes the same thing.

If this really does happen, especially with pizza or other fast food delivery…the drones will be set with a card scanner to scan credit or debit cards….take the price of the pizza from your account PLUS the tip (the rest of what is in your account)….don’t think it won’t happen!
