He can carve script in stone, so that it looks like perfect penmanship. I watched him for a long time. I kept thinking,”Geeze, what if he makes a mistake? Or the rock chips wrong? ” I asked him how he could do that, and did he worry about something going wrong? The answer was his standard silly one. “I don’t make mistakes.” Or maybe it was profound.
