I’ve noticed, over the years, that many of the women who want strict rules and guidelines for women don’t want to be included in them.

The interesting thing is the percentage of justices, plus the nominee, who are devout members of quite conservative religious sects (being incredibly polite). If the same were true of most any other religions the Republicans would be furious. What balance is there in the three branches of government and indeed within those branches? Not too damn much. Welcome to a brand new glass ceiling and this time it will control what people can do with their bodies among other things. So… Margaret Atwood? Oh yeah… When fiction becomes reality. And if she’s approved won’t the percentage of conservative Christians on the court who believe in their sects doctrine of control over a person’s body then be 66.6%? Maybe it’s a sign… 666…

Women won’t go back to pre-1973. LGBTQ people will not go back “into the closet.” Non-white people will not accept suppression and racism. The disabled will not accept being ignored. People will not go back to pre-ACA “healthcare.” There are more citizens who want to improve the lot of non-billionaires/millioniares, who won’t go back to the "good ol’ days when any one who isn’t a non-white male “knows their place.” Patriarchy is going down.

There are those conservatives that have staunch morees for other people until the violation of that moree hits home. Dick Cheney was a staunch antihomosexual until his daughter became a lesbian. Then his views on homosexuality made an about face.

But, with the Trumplicons, the new conservatism of the Repub party, we have a whole new approach. Though there will be multiple violations of the moral code in their lives, nevertheless, the moral codes for others must be obeyed.

Gotta remember there’s onion layers of purpose in EVERYTHING Trump does. Goads people of integrity in government to resign BECAUSE then he can replace them with toadies. Appoints lots of district judges BECAUSE he’s planning a takeover of the electoral college. Ignores issues BECAUSE he doesn’t understand them and they don’t put money in his pocket. Deregulates everything BECAUSE it makes money for his rich and powerful friends. Befriends Putin and other dictators BECAUSE they make him feel powerful (and maybe are blackmailing him?). And the GOP sheep and his base believe the Republican scam that a government that protects us from crooks like him and corporate interests, and helps the little people and the weak, is BIG government, and therefore bad government. We need to wake up and stop this new Hitler from repeating the evil and making us serfs and handmaids. He is only one step away — VOTE!!!!
