Donald Trump lied about the seriousness of the Covid outbreak. He said he didn’t want to create a panic. He said ““So the fact is, I’m a cheerleader for this country. I love our country. And I don’t want people to be frightened.” Well, isn’t that nice? He will lie about the seriousness of the disease. He will downplay the threat. He will dismantle the agencies that could contain and limit the spread. He will say of the death toll (still climbing, by the way) that it is what it is. But, “I don’t want want people to be frightened.”

Now, he wants four more years to lie, downplay, dismantle, and blame everyone else. That’s a platform even Benedict Arnold would be proud of!

he likes that. not only did he minimize it on purpose, but why do people watch thinks like the Kardashians, or why are many youtubers famous despite not having any special talent, or why are there trolls. Because it works. Is not about talent; is about being mentioned, and if you keep on being mentioned and keep calling the attention then people know who you are, which is the only thing that counts; so when people call him the orange troll it turns out to be in more than one way

Doesn’t the fact that his whole campaign so far has been nothing but fear-mongering and untruths negate any claim that he doesn’t want to panic us? He just didn’t/doesn’t want to panic the stock market. That bird has already flown! Every single time Trump opens his mouth he makes a new assertion that the left will cause cities to burn and make mobs overrun the suburbs, not to mention his own attacks on our American citizens by his mercenary thugs. The public is already panic stricken by his lies and exaggerations! Not one word of comfort has he given the public! Not one iota of a plan to try to control this very deadly virus. Just lie after lie after lie. Now he’s trying to push through a vaccine. Are we supposed to trust that the FDA won’t knuckle under to his pressure to release it before November 3rd? His actions are unconscionable!
