I have held the belief that the TSA was a monolithic overreaction to 9/11 by the gop and Bush2. Much of the Patriot Act and Homeland Security (never liked that name, too many connections to WW2 movies and books) seemed like conservatives clamping down on civil liberties and freedoms.
Good thing the First Lady made her Florida excursion on a military aircraft, isn’t it? Wouldn’t we hate the First Lady having to endure what we second class citizens endure daily?
My husband and I were wondering why other unions who can legally strike don’t go out in solidarity with the furloughed federal workers. Imagine if the Teamsters and the Dockworkers said they were walking out-everything stops! The shutdown would end in 3 days tops! And the power would be back in the hands of the people not those morons in DC!
Mr Toughest Guy on the block has completely caved – at least for three weeks. I just enjoyed his speech – many of his usual lies about border security, but he couldn’t turn reopening the government into his victory. Nancy – again we thank you for giving him a lesson on how the federal government works.
So, I wonder which one of his rich contributors TOLD him to surrender to Nancy? Or was it "Ms. Skeletor, or fatso Limpballs? Maybe Lumpy, speaking from deep inside trump’s rump??
But every time TSA comes up, I’m reminded of El Al and Mossad warnings years ago, if you let a “bad guy” in the terminal, you’ve already totally failed security.

Please don’t confuse Mr. Trump with the reality of what is actually occuring in the U.S.

If the Democrats didn’t hang tough, hostage taking of workers would continue!

IMO it was the shut down of the airport that turned the tide.
