    The 1943 serial of The Phantom did irreparable damage to the brand when the the African natives were portrayed by Campesinos.

    I only saw that comic strip when we visited my Grandmother in Chicago. it was in her newspaper.

    Never made it bigger as an action hero? HA! That just shows your ignorance. During its creator Lee Falk’s times which were the glorious days of the comic, The Phantom had a huge and a wide range of readers across the world numbering 100,000,000 readers a day – one hundred million readers a day. Does you even knows in how many languages across the world it was being published? Never made it bigger my foot.
