and superheroes, can’t forget them.most other genres are mainly gone now outside of those 3 and almost none of the others get wide enough releases to play in my city. Over half of last years Oscar nominated films never opened in my city, but I can see Avengers on 27 screens in my city out of a total of 48 screens.
Maybe we’ll live to see the combination of “The Hunger Games” genre and the reality TV genre – something akin to “The Running Man” but with real consequences?

The entertainment industry is vast and is a reflection of the society we live in. Which when you think of it is kinda sad.
