For that matter, even if Nancy wasn’t doing anything with her phone, why did Fritzi ask, “why not go hang up” etc.? She’s not really asking, is she? Just say, “stop what you’re doing and hang up birdhouses, or it’s FIVE ACROSS THE EYES!”
