I had that same thought some 35 years ago when I bought my new VCR machine and couldn’t figure out how to stop the clock from flashing 12:00 o’clock! I thought, “Sometime in the future people will invent an easier way to set the time on their electronic contraptions!” And that future is now. I just bought a new computer and the thing knew what the correct time was without any input from me. Amazing! I don’t even have to change the time when daylight savings time starts! Computer is damn smart by itself!
