“What a trip. What a trip! Blizzard all the way. Snow twenty feet deep, but we had to get the serum through. It was mush, mush, mush all night. Come on! Mush! Mush! Mush! Mush! Mush! Suddenly the glacier cracks! There’s a roar! Tons of ice! No escape! Aaaagh! How’s things been with you?” -Daffy Duck

Even more effort could be saved by waiting a few months until the first decent snowfall.

Does anyone know why Guy Gilchrist left this strip? IMHO, he was great, much better than this talentless “artist”.

I wonder which parcel delivery company delivered that? aren’t they supposed to at least ring the doorbell? So therefore the package shouldn’t be left further than arm’s length from the door! By the looks of the artwork, the deliveryman must have been a 30 foot tall giant.

Nancy has a future as a computer programmer.

One of the traits of a good programmer is spending five hours to automate a five minute task, and not see anything wrong with that.

Why did Aunt Fritzi leave the boots attached to the skis? I don’t think you’re supposed to do that.

Why did Fritizi, living in this Souther California like environment, leave skis by the door? It does look like there is quite a slope behind the house, but judging by the plants, no snow for some time.

If you’re a new reader of Jaimes’ Nancy, and you don’t like the simplistic style, then probably don’t cite previous cartoonists, it’s always had a simplistic style. It’s an intentional choice, and occasionally we see her do other art styles (eg: the drawings the characters do).If it’s the erotica aspect you miss, there are old strips online (including Gilchrist’s, if you don’t like jokes in your comics), and also other places online to find drawn erotica (I’m not going to link that for you). If you just want to be an edgelord and ragequit every day, save your time, it’s tedious, we’ve all seen it umpteen times before.

If you’re interested in a gag-a-day strip, with a little bit of snark, and a simple art style, keep reading. Not every joke lands for every person, but that’s how jokes work. If it never tickles your funnybone, thanks for giving it a try, thank you for not making huge theater about your disinterest.

The most reasonable explanation that the skis were by the door was Fritzi is getting rid of them (trash? donation?). So I can’t help but imagine that the package contains ski wax, like a gift from some sort of magi. Or Aunt Fritzi was bringing in the trash bin, and those were the most handy shoes.

When my delivery man leaves a package in the street, the CEO of his company gets a letter from me. It’s the only thing that worked.

I have to say that, iconic as OJ’s grumpy Nancy is (buy the pin below!), I really love her Happy Nancy striding off to do something.
