But I like ABBA! (Okay, I know what you’re going to say….). Hurry on, Sir Dudley; you and your flag are turning blue and freezing!

I got dragged to see the Mamma Mia movie when it first came out; that’s MY idea of Hell

A far more “appropriate” choice of background music would’ve been Wagner - not just thanks to the subject matter, but due to the nature of the music. Now THAT can sometimes be Hell.

ABBA’s music, on the other hand, was always uplifiting, if often rather nonsensical.

All the same, I laughed at the choice along with most who put in their two cents so far.

And now, so I’ll sound less curmudgeonly when I write, I’ll go have my morning CocoMocha and come back later… :)

He’d know which Hel[l] he was in if he walked into a bar full of Kurt Wallanders.

Dear Johanan Rakkav: I agree in part with your choice of music for this locale, but honestly; how the heck would you draw, write, or show, the ambient presence of Götterdämmerung? :)

It’s certainly not “Milfheim”, not a MILF in sight!

I also like the teal flag of uncertainty. Reminds me somehow of the Riddler, though.

ABBA is quite fine, but I would have gone with “The Visitors.”

Point taken, Justin. But had you succeeded, you just might have won the National Cartoonist Association’s yearly award for something or other. :)

I put “appropriate” in quotes for a reason, of course. Your choice was simple, easy and extremely funny. Not everyone can make fun of Wagner and get away with it (and you did that earlier when Sir Dudley was talking to Thor). Here…ABBA is an easy target and a slam dunk at that.

I had a German teacher who thought the best way to learn a language was by singing pop songs. Thirty-five years later, I can still sing most of “Waterloo” in German. Not that I would want to.

@mntim, how about a round of “Tintinabula” (“Jingle Bells”) or “Rudolpho Naso Rubro” (Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer)?
