We got hail yesterday. The forecast had been for zero precipitation, but we had heavy rain, hail and thunder for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon. The temp plunged to below 80 (from about 90). It was great!
It also meant that the roads were flooded around us, so I ended up watching last night’s service on my computer instead of risking the flooding.
When I got up this morning, the outside temp was 68! We haven’t been that low since May. Today’s forecast is for 89 with again 0% chance of rain. Clear skies and sunshine at the moment, so we’ll see.
I’m still trying to get an appointment to see an orthopedic doctor about my hands. My “trigger” fingers are getting downright painful, but they won’t take appointments more than 90 days out and the schedule is full. That means 8AM calls every day hoping that I can get an appointment before someone else gets the only available ones.
The water in our community is being shut off today for repairs to one of the big valves. It’s a good thing we have bottled water around here. I’m trying to think of somewhere we can go to pass that time.
