    Good morning, Vagabonds.

My pedometer seems to be working pretty well. It’s a tiny thing that I clip onto my pants and then ignore all day. At the end of the day it was about 4700 steps which I then put into my new spread sheet. I’m going to try and see how well I am doing at getting up and walking more.

This morning’s walk was shorter than usual because both of us felt that yesterday’s overexertion at the clubhouse kinda did us in. Still recovering from lifting those heavy floor tiles I guess.

Not much happening today, not even grocery shopping. It’s a good day to not use the car and gasoline.

I read this morning that the Dems are really mad at Biden because he’s going to nominate an anti-abortion Republican as a federal judge in Kentucky. I’m not sure why he’s doing that, but my reaction to the responses is “ooh, poor wittle babies, you didn’t get your way”.

Today’s forecast is for 105. Somehow looking at that this morning it struck me as “oh, wow, cool today”. Yes, I know it isn’t really cool, but after a few days at 110+ I guess it’s relative.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

It seems that the comment police are are over reacting to something I said in my first post so, God bless and talk to you tomorrow.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Well I seemed to have overdone things a wee bit on Wednesday because I was totally out of it yesterday. Sore, foggy headed and very slow at everything. So happy to get back to my normal today. Some of it may be the heat and humidity. It was already 75 by 7 am and our high today was 95. Our current humidity reading is at 48%. I’m exhausted.

My sister and I are in the process of selling our parents home. She is doing all the work as the house is in Ohio and I am over 600 miles away in Missouri. The gentleman who is buying is doing a great job of redecorating the inside of the house. However, he is not interested in the various plants around the home and told my sister to help herself to any of the plants she wanted. So today I received three boxes full of plants. She sent me some of my mother’s hosta, peony’s that originally came from my grandparent farm, purple sedum and Sultan’s Crown lilys. Tomorrow I begin planting.

Today, I went to lunch with a friend and it was a quick afternoon. Her MIL passed away yesterday (she was in her 90’s). So she and her husband will be headed for North Carolina by Monday. There is always so much to do before an unplanned trip.

May you all enjoy a peace filled evening.
