Sunny this morning, and foggy not to mention cool. The cool is not going to last long as the high is expected to reach 76 degrees. Tomorrow there is a heat warning for the Champlain Valley and the Hudson River Valley, temps in the 90s. For us more likely the high 80s. Good day to stay inside.
It’s Friday, go get food and exercise, walking around the store. (^.^)
It’s a beautiful day here today. We’ve got sunshine, wind and temps that will hit only 82. After a few days of 100+, that’s an enormous relief.
I had to laugh at myself yesterday. While I was out and about I was thinking “now that the winds are gone, we can put the flag back up”. (Our PVC flag pole is so flimsy that these strong winds will destroy it and the flag ends up on the ground.) 4 hours later and the wind is back with a vengeance. That’s what I get for even thinking about putting the flag back out.
A friend of mine is absolutely convinced that every time she cleans the blown in pine needles & leaves from her patio it triggers the winds again. We tease her about it being her fault. (I’ll have to call her and see if she did it again yesterday.)
Mike is having oral surgery today in order to pull his remaining upper teeth and be fitted with a denture. I can’t say as I would like to be in his place.
Not much else on the agenda. It was too hot to paint yesterday, so perhaps I will get that done while it is cooler today. Operative word being “perhaps”.
