    Good morning Vagabonds

The forecast for this morning says: Steady rain this morning. We got sunshine, but, a look at the weather app shows precipitation over in up state NY headed our way,

The weather page says a high of 74 for today. If it’s like yesterday’s high of 76, well, I saw 80 on the thermometer in my Jeep. Dew point currently 57.

Watched “Autopsy: The Last Hours of” from Reels, it was about Gilda Radner who pasted away from ovarian cancer at 42. Like many comedians who grew up with hardships like being picked on by other kids for being over weight and the death of her father when she was 12, she found being funny a way to coupe. One of my many favorite movies is “Haunted Honeymoon” with Gilda and her hubby Gene Wilder.

Head for church in a little while and I must change shortly, soooo, all y’all have a wonerful Sunday and may God be at your side.

    Good Hot-again morning, Vagabonds,

Well, the count is in. 3 days over 90 degrees in June, 10 days in July in my semi-official Heat Tracking count. And already it was 97 yesterday with today being a echo of yesterday. Last year we only had 15 days all summer long. Harrumph.

I’ve been doing all my chores early in the day. It’s just too hot in the house to do anything later. Bummer.

Y’all stay safe and cool. Good luck with the storm, Florchi.

    xoxo Happy Trails

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Church this morning was great! We actually had a worship team and the message was (as happens so often) something I needed to hear.

The heat wave is easing a teeny bit. It was only 109 yesterday and got down to 85 last night. It is supposed to “cool” off for the next few days (high 100/low 75) then head right back up to 110 to 115 for the following week. I am soooo glad we got the outside project finished!

I am still binge-watching This Old House. I started over from the 1979 beginning again and just finished season 7. In those 7 years, Bob Vila progressed from being awkward, joking and sometimes downright rude on camera to a seasoned host who knows what he is doing. And Norm Abram has also gotten used to the cameras and is a lot more comfortable with his role. Vila only lasted 10 years, but Abram is still with the show after 41 seasons.

Everyone stay safe and have a blessed Sunday.
