Someone sent me a picture of a little boy striking a match in order to light the cigarette hanging out of his mouth. It was captioned: " If anything I post on my page offends you, blame your parents for raising a pussy." The de-masculineization of the American male is rampant in advertising and PC.

Nobody is allowed to feeeeeeeellll offended in any way at any time. If somebody is offended at the way you said ‘good morning’ then you mustn’t ever say it again. We are a society of insincere weasels, never telling the truth because that will surely offend.

When did having good manners become such a left-wing evil?

Geez, guys, don’t get ‘em in a knot just because this strip is against your hardwired version of PC. Looks like at least four of you feeeeeeeelll offended, and can’t wait to gripe about it.

I think the people who are getting mad at “de-masculinization” of society are really just getting upset that being “manly” or “macho” etc doesn’t actually hold any value in society anymore. .Being “manly” used to get someone a better job, better pay and attract the ladies… but these days, a pencil-neck geek can make huge dollars in the tech industry, and the celebrity men that women swoon over are more likely to be “sensitive” than “macho”..So “masculine” men in society have gone from being “top dog”, to being mediocre… and nobody likes having their privilege taken away.

Personally I’ve always enjoyed being whistled at – but I understand that in the US it often accompanies a subtle form of bullying, whereas here in the UK it’s just a sign of simple appreciation (and women do it too).

The guy with the skull-and-crossed bones tattoo had really crushed Monty in panel 2, only to let him back up in panel 3.So, who’s the wuss now? Could have kicked Montague Montahue to the curb, but spares him….

Ah, I just knew this one would trigger (ha ha ha) all the chest-thumpers and knuckle-draggers into a shrieking hysterical fit about “political correctness” and how “back in the good old days” they could do stuff like use racial slurs and nobody did anything about it because everyone was thick-skinned they might be murdered.

They did not disappoint. …Well, not in terms of my expectations, anyway.
