Usually Trump just throws people under a bus. This time it was an entire fleet of FedEx trucks with a load of bodies from funeral homes.

I worked for the USPS for 42 years and it seemed that every PMG was worse than the prior one, but this PMG takes the cake. In the past, regardless of the circumstances, the PMG and management were always about improving delivery standards and processing the mail as quickly as possible. I remember one high ranking manager being led away in handcuffs by the Postal Inspectors for hiding mail in trucks in order to make himself look better.

When I was first hired, there was a piling up of packages at Christmas time due to lack of personnel and processing facilities. Immediately after Christmas, the USPS rented a new building and installed a large package processing separator. The USPS just didn’t ever want any backlogged mail. I remember times when I worked the maximum overtime for weeks on end due to shortage of personnel and times when the USPS was hiring new people everyday. I also remember times when the USPS was short on money due to the complicated process for getting postage increases. The USPS always somehow found the money and we always got the mail out and that was always the number one mission. It was unthinkable to have a PMG who believed in piling up the mail. This PMG has got to go as well as his orange narcissist boss!

What was I thinking I ask myself. I saw a DVD on eBay for $4.95 plus $3.00 shipping that the wife wanted me to find. Our anniversary is on August 6th and had ordered it July 28th with estimated delivery date of August 5th. Shipped from Florida. Made the mistake of telling the wife it would be here probably very soon. I’d watch the tracking on the package. It did make it to Seattle a while back & we’re near Portland. Checked tracking again today 8-9-20

“Saturday, Aug 8, 2020 12:00 AM N/AIn Transit, Arriving Late” (No location given)

I did receive a postcard from an old Navy friend in Christ Church, New Zealand from a FPO AP address using a Forever Stamp that took 6 days to arrive. Not “Forever” like here in the States.

One of my utility bills I still pay by mail just so I have an excuse to buy commemorative stamps. I love the U.S. Postal Service and commemorative stamps. The former is a modern logistical miracle, and the latter are soooooo pretty.

The postal service.. like health care, costs too much when you have to service all the scum and leftovers that can’t afford the paid services. Its been the Republican dream to get rid of both.

Postmaster General DeJoy stated this week that the federal and state elections mail in ballots will not be hampered by poor post office performance. The new PG, appointed in June 2020, is a generous contributor to PINO Trump btw but that’s just coincidence of course.

Trump’s Post Office under his new a$$ kissing mega donor PMG. Mail-in ballots will be our top priority, unless you live in a blue state. For those states, junk mail is our new top priority.

The fascist Republicans are destroying the Post Office so they can slow down mail in ballots. They are not even trying to hide their UnAmerican lying and cheating in regards to our sacred elections.

Remember when the USA used to be the shining light of democracy?

    Republicans have totally destroyed that.

Obviously DeJoy is on a mission of sabotage. He’s there to cripple the PO so that no one can vote in November. If I have to I will show up at the polls in November and vote to throw the trash out of office.

“Like a thief in the night.” And no one thinks the Humper does not read the Bibul. He takes its lessons very litterly: “Let the children suffer.” “A rich man can get into heaven.” “Throw rocks at glass houses.” “The poor shall always be hanging around begging.” Not even Christ suffered as greatly as he has.

Can you believe 40% of Americans claim to prefer Trump over anything else? Have they been blinded and rendered deaf? Do they not care about ordinary Americans dying by the thousands because of bad behavior by Trump, his family and cronies? He takes no responsibility, but does that mean millions of American don’t care? He declared “war” on the virus, then went AWOL as a leader. Do 40% of Americans not care?! He doesn’t care Putin is paying bounties on our service men and women where they are in danger, out there supporting our country! Do Americans NOT CARE!? He boasted he could stand on 5th Ave in New York City and shoot someone and he wouldn’t lose any votes. Does that standard apply to our service men and women?! Can he stand by and watch them be killed at the behest of PUTIN, and not lose a vote?! WHO are these AMERICANS who don’t CARE!? HOW DARE THEY CONTINUE TO CALL THEMSELVES AMERICANS!?

Trump wants to punish USPS for giving a deal to Amazon. CEO Bezos owns Washington Post – fake news to Trump. And, IMO, because Bezos is truly rich, rich, rich, and Trump is a fake billionaire.

75 years later, new tragedies …

    1945-08-06: Hiroshima

    1945-08-09: Nagasaki

Wikipedia: “Over the next two to four months, the acute effects of the atomic bombings killed between 90,000 and 146,000 people in Hiroshima and 39,000 and 80,000 people in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each city occurred on the first day.”

Its bad now. I mailed a certified letter on June 1st from Seattle WA to New Orleans LA with a PO Box number on it. A government building address to boot. I received the letter back saying it was undeliverable. How can a PO Box address be undeliverable? And the best part is……….It took 69 days for the postal system to determine it wasn’t deliverable. SMH
