I get what Luckovich is aiming for, but: (1) the quaint image of the humble one-man/“family” farming operation is out of date, and (2) the giant conglomerates that ARE hit by the Trump tariffs are just going to pass the pain to the consumer, as all massive ‘glomers do. Also, Trump’s kick is WILDLY short of the farmer’s testicles, which I presume was mandated by a squeamish editor.

Donnie won’t stop until he has completely dismantled this country, one tweet at a time.

And yes, trump REALLY IS THIS STUPID!

‘Communist China is paying for the tariff costs’…..is the master of tariffs current mantra. The trumpster, proving daily that you don’t need intelligence to be elected. Sad days for this country.

The tariffs are working as well as expected. Which is to say not at all.

Large farms benefited from Trump’s gifts.

Isn’t every American paying a price for Donald Trump’s economic ignorance, in the end?

Isn’t the renewed tariff a payback for the Fed lowering interest rates?

It’s all part of winning. Are any Trump supporters tired of winning yet?

We have an unprecedented situation where upon hearing the economy wasn’t bad enough to justify a large rate cut, a president decided he would make the economy bad enough.

These things happen when you put crazy stupid reality denying Republicans in charge.

I grew up on a family farm in Eastern NC. There are still many family farms in operation there. I suspect they are being hurt badly by tRump’s actions. I still own part of the family farm but it is rented to a neighboring farmer.

The Corporate Farms are making out like Bandits.

Of course, they ARE Bandits, so that’s just how they do business…

Rule of law, eh? I weep.

Sorry, the farmers are getting your tax dollars “Free Stuff” so they don’t have to sell anything.

If only there was a term for that? Welfare Queens…… No…… Moochers…….. Welfare recipients……

There was a tremendous tragedy afoot in America yesterday. Some silly thing about bangety-bangs pushed the resident of the White House out of all the headlines! Outrageous! Can’t the lamestream media read the Constitution? It clearly requires that every single day must feature the resident as their top story. But such disrespect is probably the best we can expect from the Enemy of the People.

Do you know rump, mcconnell, and many other US congressmen including senators receive millions of dollars every year from the IRA to do whatever they want. rump and McConnell alone get over one a million $,$$$$$$$$$ each!!!It’s no wonder they both freeze every time someone mentions commonsense gun laws.
