Trump supporters want to “send her back” to get rid of U.S. citizen and elected member of the House of Representatives, Ilhan Omar?
Unlike Trump, Omar actually won her office with more votes than her opponent.
And Omar has been a U.S. citizen longer than Melania Trump.
Oh, so maybe the “send her back” is not referring to Ilhan Omar? Maybe Trump IS getting serious about sending back those who came here on tourist visas, did not have authorization to work, yet still worked illegally! (That little “tiff” the ’toon is hinting at?)
Telling minorities — especially U.S. citizens who are elected REPRESENTATIVES in Congress — to “go back where you came from” is the epitome of racism. Any federal civil service employee would be fired for that. The official EEOC guidelines for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines specifically cite that wording ” — “go back where you came from” — as an example of a prohibited ETHNIC SLUR.
Any federal employee not elected or a senate-confirmed appointee would be fired for the same RACISM exhibited by Trump.
