Love Pelosi, but this gives her too much credit. Trump hadn’t done his homework and planned a hissy fit as a distraction. However, her response was great.
She totally pwned him, and afterwards spoke sadly and “sympathetically” of his lack of confidence. Expect to see an explosion somewhere in the vicinity of the Oval Office when THAT sinks in…
Nancy is brilliant. I think she should keep pushing the “intervention” thread. Call upon Melania, “if you love the united states, you would stage an intervention”. And then ivanka: “if you really love your father, you would get him help…he’s not normal”. Keep it up Nancy, you’re our only hope!
IMO, Pelosi needs to keep pushing Trump until he publicly explodes. He cannot handle any ridicule and his reaction may finally be enough to embarrass his supporters and enablers.
Hopefully the limited number of adults in his administration won’t let him start a war or launch a nuke.
It’s possible Donald J. Trump just might end up being the first President in U.S. history to be stripped of the title retroactively, once the illegitimacy of his election and the extent of his personal and financial fraud is fully exposed.
If Nancy, (or Chuck, or the thirty or so Democrats running for president) really want to get under Trump’s microscopically thin skin, they should all start “neighing” at this “stable genius.” Of course, we knew long long ago that Trump throws temper tantrums at meetings, whether they’re Cabinet meetings or meetings with Democrats. I’m sure the other people in the meeting resented Trump for making them lie that he was calm, mature, and sane. Leaks, anyone?
But I also think it distracted from the fact that the planned infrastructure talk was doomed to fail because of Trump’s need to pander to his “base” and the Democrats unwillingness to do that.
Where the money for? Delete Trump’s tax cuts on the wealthy? And so on.
I don’t think this was a strategic decision on his part, but whether he thought it out or not, it redounds to his benefit.
Heh. Reminds me of the joke about the mouse and the elephant.
Pelosi, alone, cannot do better than piss him off, which is worth doing, imo, except that he’s dangerous when he’s trying to distract us from his financials, and more dangerous when pissed off at the same time.

Is it true that Trump offered to pay Nancy Pelosi $130,000 to keep quiet and not keep embarrassing him with THE TRUTH?
Of course, the last time Trump paid a woman (who is smarter than he is) to keep quiet, it didn’t work anyway.
Pelosi is smarter than Trump and he is bringing a knife to a proverbial gunfight.
Pelosi vs Trump is a battle of wits — Pelosi is fully armed and half-wit Donnie is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

She has him wrapped around her little finger. A fine assessment of that old slogan, I’d say!

Poor Mr. President; instead being able to grab it, he got whipped by it. (And not in his rumored “good way.”)
